- Alriso is an entirely gluten free Italian restaurant in the historical center of Prague. They use rice and rice flour in most meals. The menu contains appetizers, about a dozen kinds of Italian risotto, and a selection of gluten free pasta and gnocchi. Additionally, you’ll find several meat dishes and some seafood. All the meals can be paired up with nice Italian wines. And finally, one of Alriso’s traditional Italian desserts will wrap up your meal nicely. They are all gluten free and usually include tiramisu, panna cotta, a chocolate fondant, ice cream – and a variety of cheeses for those who don’t feel like anything sweet. The restaurant bakes their own gluten free bread. You’ll get a taste of it with a little olive oil before your meal. If you like it (like we do), you can buy a whole loaf to take with you.The interior of this Prague gluten free restaurant is on two floors – on street level and downstairs. In the warm season, there are also quite a few tables out in front. Since Alriso sits right on Betlémské náměstí, you’ll be able to enjoy a direct view of Bethlehem Chapel if you sit outside. We have always encountered excellent service at Alriso. It can be a bit slow when the place is busy. As a result, we’ve learned it’s best to come for a leisurely meal when you’re not in a rush. If you plan on coming during a typical lunch or dinner time, especially on a weekend, consider making a reservation.
A BIT OF CULTURE PERHAPS?
One more tip. If you have an hour to spare before or after your meal, why not visit the Náprstek Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures? You’ll find it literally a few steps away from the restaurant.Alriso website & Facebook page No Records Found
