Arepas de Lyna is a small family restaurant that brings homemade gluten free arepas and other Venezuelan specialties to Prague. The place is cozy and friendly. Lyna the owner will make you feel at home as soon as you come in.
Food is always fresh here and all the ingredients used in the kitchen are gluten free and safe for celiacs. We eat at Arepas de Lyna or bring in from there quite often. In our opinion, the gluten free arepas are delicious although a bit messy. It is no wonder. They are always overflowing with a tasty mix of filling. We also like the cachapitas and fried plantains.
The interior of the restaurant is small and fits only a few tables. In the warm season, more tables are available out in front and people happily take the opportunity to enjoy their meals and drinks outside. You can also take your food to go or have it delivered.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. That said, you’ll do well checking their hours before you head there. The opening times at Arepas have not always been set in stone.

1 Reviews on “Arepas De Lyna: Gluten Free Arepas in Prague”
We always get the arepas vegetarianas and empanadas domino (beans and cheese), so our review is only based on these two menu items. We love the arepas and know we’re in for a treat whenever we decide to have them for dinner. It’s nice they come with two different salsas on the side – one mild and one spicy – so everyone can finish off their arepa to their liking. One minor complaint is that the arepas are quite messy and the filling tends to fall out a lot – which is where a plate and a fork come in handy.
